Tasaba
Below is a transciption of the 6/8 rhythm Tasaba. Tasaba is a traditional Malinké rhythm from the Hamana region of Guinea, West Africa and it is played at traditional Malinké fêtes.
The full arrangement of this rhythm was taught by Nansady Keita in the UK in October 2010. This arrangement was transcribed by Drummed Up teacher Mark Barfoot. This transcription is intended for use by Drummed Up students who have been learning this rhythm with Mark and is not a substitute for working with a teacher.
